Just one slab

Cheryl put out a call for blocks to make quilts for people in Southern Alberta who suffered from the recent flooding.

 The blocks were quick to put together so I made two and finally made it to the post office today to mail them.

I wish I would have lined up the right strip in a different orientation so the bottom right seam wasn't so perfect.  It was a time I didn't want my seams to match and they did.....argh.  

While sorting through my mass of blue scraps, I determined that I have a lot of teal and turquoise blues.  

My other sewing time has been spent sewing some new clothes for my niece and daughter.  Pictures might eventually come but we'll see how cooperative they are.
